Independent Living Skills Instructor
Full-Time / Part-Time
Community-based and remote role supporting adults with developmental disabilities in homes and community settings.
Responsibilities
-
Provide 1:1 independent living skills training
-
Support goals related to money management, employment, social skills, health, and daily living
-
Create and adjust personalized learning plans
-
Collaborate with families and support teams
-
Track client progress and advocate for client needs
-
Requirements
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
-
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, insurance, and good DMV record
-
Ability to pass DOJ background check and drug screening
-
Experience preferred but not required
