Independent Living Skills Instructor

Full-Time / Part-Time

Community-based and remote role supporting adults with developmental disabilities in homes and community settings.

​

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 independent living skills training

• Support goals related to money management, employment, social skills, health, and daily living

• Create and adjust personalized learning plans

• Collaborate with families and support teams

• Track client progress and advocate for client needs

• ​

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, insurance, and good DMV record

• Ability to pass DOJ background check and drug screening

• Experience preferred but not required
